Camping World 300 Nationwide Lineup

Before we go to bed for another exciting day at the track filled with loveeeeeee....here is tomorrow lineup for the Camping World 200 Race in Daytona. Please dont forget to look at Toyota's Michael Annett...we think he may have what it takes amongst all these Sprint Cup drivers...What are your thoughts on Sprint Cuppers driving in the Nationwide series...seems to be stirring some thoughts..and we love it!!!

Joey Logano asks for footies and perhaps a bedtime story for each race

Oh come on you all....you are making it too easy for us today. In the midst of the hype of race week and the success of lots of great things to people we know that is putting incredible stress on our livers...the guys at Black Flagged Online scooped us on this but my god I dont know if it is because it is Friday or this is the first time in 6 days I havent been drinking or hungover on the track that I feel an urgency to comment.
Now, I must pretense that I dont mean to make fun of this poor little kid, but for all that is good and Petty stop making it so easy for us! Bravo to these guys for sharing our sense of humor. Enjoy the read and leave comments on what we could add to ease Joey Joeyerton into this big boy sport. First thoughts from the fashionistas? Maybe strapping a teddy bear in the passenger seat for comfort and maybe putting some milk instead of Gatorade In Car Drinking System...

Daytona 500 Cheat Sheet

Of the 3 of us girls, I am the statistical one. My memory with numbers is almost frightening. Naturally, I never have a problem figuring out who drives what car # or who has what sponsor. I thought I had the new field memorized, even with the craziness of new numbers, new paint schemes, new teams, etc. Boy was I wrong. At the Duals yesterday, I came to the realization that I can't seem to shake that Carl Edwards no longer has Office Depot for a sponsor and that Ryan Newman is #39. Every time I looked at Casey Mears car, I thought it was Clint Bowyer. I will eventually be back on my A game though.

Below is a Daytona 500 cheat sheet/line up, with their sponsors and car numbers for those of you that need a little help with this years really wacky crazy silly season.

AWKWARD...Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman to reunite at the one place they fell in love-Daytona

Sometimes, you just can't make this stuff up! Daytona Beach News Journal reports that Tom Cruise will drive the Daytona 500 pace car for this Sundays race. He and wife Katie Holmes will be in Daytona at the same time where ex wife Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban (who will be performing). As discussed before Daytona Beach was the location for the movie Days of Thunder where Nicole and Tom first met and fell in love! Wont this make for an interesting driver meeting! What next, Katie's ex Chris Klein singing the National Anthem? Now I am sure everyone is happy for everyone blah blah blah but I dont see them dining pre race anytime soon! I dont care how many years have gone by, I am sure all parties involved would rather eat glass than do this! Awkkkkkkwaaaaaarrrrrdddddd! On the upside I hope they bring Suri, and a phonebook for Tom to sit on when he drives....sorry couldnt resist! Speaking of shortcomings, found the above image from The Sun...boy she likes them small and cute!

Tommy Baldwin Racing makes the show!

Tommy Baldwin Racing and the #36 Toyota driven by Scott Riggs WILL be in the 51st running of the Daytona 500!!! This is exciting news to us, as Tommy is one of the nicest guys in the sport and well loved and respected by all in the garage!

We are very proud of his new endeavor, and Congratulations to him and his team!!

The first dual was a nail biter, Martin Truex's spin in the second half of the race had us also spinning as we were in his pit box when that happend! While listening to his scanner, there was no major damage to the car, but Bono feared the splitter could be damaged...Martin said he didn't feel too much vibration while he was out there alone, so we had a sigh of releif!

The Fashionistas are in the fanzone, getting ready for the 2nd dual. We are pulling for Regan Smith to race his way in! This is the exciting part of Race Weeks, seeing who is going to make the show!!

More updates to come!

We would also like to send a Thank You! To all of our new followers! We hope you are enjoying our updates, live from Daytona!!

Happy Dual Day!

The crowds are packing in, International Speedway was a cluster this morning. We are currently getting ready to head back down to the track for the Gatorade Duals. This has always been one of our favorite races, but this year is going to be a nail biter. There are a lot of great teams that deserve to be in the show that have to race their way in today. We will know at the end of the day who is in the 51st running of the Daytona 500. Look for updates throughout the day as we will be blogging from the track. Joe Nemechek checks in on tomorrow's Gatorade Duals

Nacsar.com posted an article today on the intensity of tomorrow's Gatorade Duals.

"Well, there's a lot of unknowns," Nemechek said. "I'd much
rather be
locked-in the show in one of those top-three qualifying spots --
but
unfortunately we're not there, so you've got to deal with what you
have."

I adore Joe and admire all has given a lot to this sport. I wish him the best of luck tomorrow in qualifying...just hope his comments (which are usually taken out of context) doesn't have the karma fairy chasing him. Some of the "unknowns" racing against him tomorrow is a Rookie of the Year and several have Daytona 500 winning crew chiefs at their helm. Don't forget that I am fairly new to the sport, and if I can take a manicured finger down the list with recognition on almost all (who IS Carl Long?, googling now...) its looks like the word "unknown" might not have been the best choice. Anyone have a rabbit foot?

Paige Premium Denim offers free movie tickets to Confessions of a Shopaholic

Nothing is better than finding a great pair of jeans. Since you have to wear long pants in the pits, one of the most common Nacar fashions for women is designer jeans. Throughout the four seasons that I have been doing this whole Nascar thing, I ended up with a severe jean addiction. Looking in my closet makes me sick, thinking of all the small countries I could feed off of the net-worth of my supply of designer jeans. One of my top 5 favorite designers, Paige Premium Jeans, is offering free movie tickets (while supplies last) to see Confessions of a Shopaholic, which happens to be one of my favorite books. All you have to do is try on a pair of its movie themed jeans, "Paigeaholic" at Bloomingdales or a Paige Premium Denim store. My favorite part of these jeans is that it has a hidden credit card pocket. Girls, you can go out of the house with a credit card and he will never know!
