The Holy Grail of Motorsports

For the first time in more than 13 years, Bristol has not sold out. Although not shocking due to the economy, it is a little crazy being that Bristol is the most coveted tickets to come across and tickets start at only $93. One of the funnier things I have seen is the disclaimer on ticketmaster.com for Bristol tickets. It says: If you are afraid of heights, it is not advised to purchase tickets in Wallace Tower (Sections WO-A thru WO-S). That's very nice of ticketmaster to look out for people that have a fear of heights.

The Ford City 500's Grand Marshall will be Virginia Tech Football Coach, Frank Beamer with Bobby Allison being the honorary starter. Country Music star Ashton Shepherd will perform the National Anthem who will also be performing a pre-race show. The green flag drops at 2:16 pm. Click here for the entire schedule and click here for the entrant list.

I can't imagine sitting way up on that tower and getting your drink on. I'm woozy from thinking about it.
